The next in the series of pieces that includes the earth puzzle, this lunar masterpiece combines many memorable features. The delicacy of the puzzle pieces and the fidelity to the image of the moon are quite notable in this piece. The shape and style of this work of art make it a great companion piece to the rest of the series and round puzzles are also much more memorable. The dreamy appearance of the moon is balanced by the accuracy and sharpness of the unique puzzle pieces included in the frame. The solar system, for all the study that has been done about it, is still full of mystery and wonder and this piece displays that wonder perfectly.
This piece will almost feel like viewers can place pieces in the puzzle when they look at this piece. This is because of the high fidelity of the image placement and rendering due to the unique way it is made. This art piece captures the beauty and enjoyment that can be had from interacting with the real puzzle. Made with great attention to detail and all of the edges of the pieces that have not been placed yet as well as the lines and grooves between the other pieces are created perfectly.
A new minting technique called “Bi-Metal Max” was applied to give this piece its remarkable weight and 60mm diameter – double the size of the regular 1 oz collectible. This is made possible by combining 4.5 oz of copper as a base with a top layer of 1 oz of 999 fine Silver, resulting in a super high relief topped with precise color printing and silver antiqued finishing. This is a limited edition of 688 pieces only. Each piece is packaged and delivered with a Certificate verifying its edition number and authenticity.
