Royal Australian Mint 1991 Eight Coin Proof Set. The consistent power of inflation steadily eroded the purchasing power of Australia's small coins, and so the decision was made to discontinue production of them in 1991.
This set is the last to feature 1c coins, and also features the Ram's head commemorative 50 cent piece - one of the scarcest commemorative decimal coins issued for circulation.
This is a second hand set and the outer box shows some signs of wear.
