Illustrated by Australian artist Elise Martinson, this series is inspired by dreamy newborn basket photography, a trend adored by parents all the world over.
Issued as Australian legal tender, the uncirculated aluminium bronze coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing the coin’s reverse and obverse designs.
DESIGN
The coin’s reverse depicts a cute baby Tasmanian devil asleep in a fleece-lined nest surrounded by colourful Australian native flowers and wildlife. The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark also appears on the reverse.
The Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021 year-date and the monetary denomination are depicted on the coin’s obverse.
OFFICIAL AUSTRALIA POST POSTAL NUMISMATIC COVER
The coin is presented in an illustrated card and pre-paid postal envelope which is post marked for the first day of issue. The envelope also includes Australia Post’s seal of Authenticity.
