2008 The First Fleet 1788 1oz Silver Proof Coin
This coin and comes with a numbered certificate and housed in a gold coloured shipper and presentation case.
The coin's coloured reverse, which incorporates The Perth Mint's "P" mintmark, partrays Governor Arthur Phillip and an outline of the Australian continent containing the words NEW HOLLAND. The design, which also includes the inscription THE FIRST FLEET 1788, appears within a circular border of stylised waves.
This coin is the center piece of the coin and medallion set and is also available as a single coin.
